Graham Smart has 30 years of experience in international defense and aerospace markets during his career with initially Pilkington and then Thomson-CSF, now know as Thales, first in the UK and, for the past 10 years in Washington DC. Beginning with a strategic leadership role in a French/British Joint Venture with its significant international emphasis, especially on the USA, Graham continued to work in the expansion of business development growth initiatives in areas of integration and rationalization within the European defense industry. He transferred his Thales executive leadership to the U.S.A. in 2000 as Senior VP Strategy and Business Development, during Thales strong decade of growth resulting in a multi-billion dollar US business presence.
Graham holds a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics.
