U.S.-CREST became involved in the Project on National Security Reform in 2007. The Project on National Security Reform (PNSR) is a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization working to modernize and improve the U.S. national security system to better protect the American people against 21st century dangers.
Led by a 22-member Guiding Coalition that includes former senior federal officials with extensive national security experience, The Project on National Security Reform has issued its report- Forging a New Shield - which recommends solutions to the problems that exist in the current system.
U.S.-CREST participated in the "multilateral structures" sub-group in 2007-2008 and wrote a paper providing problem analysis regarding the U.S.'s ability to act effectively in the multilateral environment.
More information about PNSR is available at pnsr.org.
